Gym Rave.

Lights down, bass up, and dumbbells instead of bar stools in the middle of the room: at a gym rave, the gym turns into a dance floor for one night. In the March region this has become a format of its own, the Mystery Edition, with SØLEØN on the decks.

What is a gym rave?

A gym rave combines sport and club culture. A DJ plays live, light and sound transform the training room, and movement is at the centre. Depending on the event, people train, dance or both. Instead of going to the club after training, the club night comes to the training.

The Mystery Edition

The Mystery Edition is a gym rave format at Athletic Care, Tiergartenstrasse 1 in Altendorf SZ. SØLEØN helped shape the format and played both editions so far:

• Mystery Edition Vol. 1 on 6 June 2026
• Mystery Edition Vol. 2 on 11 September 2026

Why Melodic House & Techno fits the gym

The steady beat sets a pulse that movement can follow. The long arcs of the style carry through intense phases and leave room to breathe in the breaks. At 125–130 BPM the music has energy without getting hectic. How the style sounds is explained in What is Melodic House & Techno?

Who the format is for

A gym rave is interesting for gyms that want to invite their community to a special night, for sports clubs and for companies that want to combine movement and celebration. Promoters looking for new formats also find an approach that stands apart from the classic club night.

The next edition

Date and venue of the next Mystery Edition are not fixed yet. As soon as they are, they will appear under Gigs and on Instagram @soleon.music.
